4Peruvian Accoyo Pachacuti 6011

Pachacuti's fleece is dense, bright, and fine! His histogram was hard to beat at 19.8 microns, 3.9 standard deviation, and 19.7 coefficient of variation at two years of age. He has a picture perfect Accoyo head, with crimpy locks all over his big frame. Over the past few years Pachacuti's cria have been uniformly outstanding and some of the best examples of the Accoyo line born on Northwest Alpaca's ranch. His progeny Eastwinds Andino won the national yearling white championship at AOBA's National Show in Portland 2001, and Accoyo’s Sonny, a multi ribbon winner from Poplar Hill and Heart’s Desire Farm, is already working as a stud male. A female cria of his won the AOBA national fleece show in 2002.

This boy has the bundled crimped fleece that the industry is working toward. Both Jim Watt and Ian Watt have looked at his 2003 fleece and indicated that it exemplifies stage two of "Soft Rolling Skin" fleece. Okanagans Valafras

Okanagan's Valafras is a true black proven huacaya herdsire. His presence and conformation are phenomenal. Valafras took 1st place in the shorn halter class at the 2002 Alpaca Jamboree, and 2nd place in the true black class at the Great Midwest Alpaca Festival (2003). Valafras has incredibly soft, lustrous fleece (histogram pending). Fiber samples are available. He has fine crimp and a good staple length. He is 1/2 Peruvian and 1/2 Chilean, coming from a very colorful line of well known alpacas, including Peruvian Valor, Peruvian Creme Brulee and Sir Winston of Melbourne. (His cousin, Jericho 69i stands as herdsire at Snowmass Alpacas in Idaho.) Valafras settles females quickly and is well halter trained. He enjoys moving about and is a good candidate for mobile herdsire service. His first cria is a deep chocolate brown with more curl and crimp than we've seen yet, and a great proud presence like his sire. Valafras is for sale at $12,600. Half interest is a possibility!

This award winning Junior Herdsire is another from the Karrington line. Seattle is starting his own tradition with his endearing personality that melts peoples hearts time after time. He has a great handle and awsome staple length already amost 7 inches in his first year. He shows great interest in females. And looks to be busy in the spring of 2004. Black We are very pleased to add True Black Thundercloud to our farm herdsires and our mobile breeding program. His 2000 fleece was 17 microns. He was the CABA 1st Place Shear off Color Champ and the CABA 2002 1st Place Black Adult. Perfect conformation, great bite, large even testicles. He comes from a black mother and a grey father. This would be a great choice for color. He was the CABA 1st Place Shear off Color Champ and the CABA 2002 1st Place Black Adult.

Flash Fusion is a full Peruvian fireball. Every single offspring from his Dam, Peruvian Juanita, has multiple ribbons, including Flash Fusion, who has been awarded a ribbon in every show he has entered. And, speaking of ribbons, check out the ribbons of fawn and white throughout his lustrous silky locks.

Not only does he have an outstanding dam, but he also gets his unique coloring from his super sire, Flash Fire’s parents (both pictured at right), the well-known chestnut-colored “Great Balls of Fire” and “Peruvian Lareissa,” a rich chocolate-brown hembra.

Snowmass Peruvian Kingston

Kingston's genetics are VERY limited in the United States. His sire, Peruvian Escobar, was sold to an Australian breeder. Both Kingston and his sire belonged to the highly-respected Snowmass Alpacas. Kingston is a product of the Snowmass breeding program and will begin breeding this year, in the Spring of 2004. His breedings will be limited to 10 outside breedings in the Spring and Fall of 2004 so as not to saturate the market and to ensure an excellent market value to those who choose to include Kingston's genetics in their breeding program.

Kingston's Dam was imported from the Cchonchatanca cooperative breeding program of Peru, one of the most superior breeding programs in all of Peru and noted as one of the largest Champion winners in Peru shows.

Kingston's Sire, Snowmass Escobar, was sold with Snowmaster to an Australian breeder for $150K. He is out of Peruvian Hemingway, who is Allianza, and is one of the finest studs who was always at the top of his class at show.
