    • ***It is very important that you know how much your animals weigh before you give them a dewormer.
    • Fenbendazole - 10mg/kg (4.5mg/pound)
    • Typically comes as a paste or liquid
    • The liquid is 100mg/ml
    • For a 100 pound animal they would get 4.5 ml
    • (100 pounds x 4.5mg/pound) x (1ml/100mg) = 4.5 ml
  • Pyrantel - 18mg/kg (8.2mg/pound)
    • Typically comes as a paste or liquid
    • The liquid is 50mg/ml
    • For a 100 pound animal they would get 16.4 ml
    • (100 pounds x 8.2mg/pound) x (1ml/50mg) = 16.4 ml
  • Ivermectin - 0.2mg/kg (0.1mg/pound)
    • Typically comes as a paste, liquid, or injectable liquid
    • The injectable liquid is 1% (10mg/ml)
    • For a 100 pound animal they would get 1 ml
    • (100 pounds x 0.1mg/pound) x (1ml/10mg) = 1 ml
